Why you should work at Al Sadiq

If you are a person wishing to make a difference in education by impacting young people’s lives then you will get tremendous satisfaction in working at Al Sadiq College. Our children have a genuine appetite for learning, and it is a truly rewarding experience for teachers to see the response of their students as they gain confidence and enthusiasm for learning and in their own ability.

As a relatively new school the opportunities for teachers will grow and will include leadership opportunities in a range of curriculum and welfare areas of the College in the future.

Al Sadiq College is a rapidly growing independent, co-educational Muslim College based in the Muslim Alawite tradition with enrolments from K – 12. In 2017 the enrolments are expected to have expanded to 650 students with its third HSC graduating class.

The school curriculum meets all NSW Board of Studies requirements with additional studies in language and religion, to enhance the moral, spiritual and intellectual abilities of our students. All students are encouraged to work to their potential with both academic extension and learning support being provided.

The Kindergarten to Year 3 are situated on the Junior Campus at Yagoona; Years 4-12 are situated at the Greenacre Campus.  The College aims to involve families and the local community in the education of our children in an Australian context; to help students to develop a sense of their own cultural heritage while at the same time fostering an understanding and respect for other cultures and religions.

Our dedicated staff is passionate and skilled in developing and nurturing our students’ potential. The College motto “Faith Knowledge Purity” underlies the caring environment; where both academic achievement and Muslim Alawite values and ethics are fostered.
